DeeDee

DeeDee was born December 19^th 2003 in Estacada Oregon. Tragically, we

Lost her to Chronic Renal Failure Jan 3^rd 2004. Here is her story. Her Mother is

From Idaho, and her Dad , born in Corbett Oregon Is our oldest Boykin, Patty’s,

Littermate. DeeDee was still born and the breeder had to perform mouth

to mouth on her to save her life. She survived, but was a very small sick puppy for

Her first months.

The story of her survival and her will to live ,tugged at our heart strings

And we chose her over 3 other healthy pups in the litter. She struggled for

the first 6 months of her life and was very sick, but she slowly recovered

and became a healthy well adjusted little dog! DeeDee was always a very

small Boykin(25 Lbs), but we didn’t mind, We called her our perennial puppy,

because her face has never lost that wide eyed puppy look!

DeeDee was shy but very intuitive and intelligent. She learned much quicker

than the other girls and never made the same mistake twice, Living with

3 sisters, she learned very quickly to defend what was hers! She got a lot of

respect for her size! DeeDee’s best friend was Molly Bean ,one of our other

Boykins, who accepted DeeDee unconditionally from day one, they were inseparable pals!

She loved the neighbors big Lab Buddy and she showered him with kisses whenever he came

around her yard,He was Dee’s reluctant boyfriend!

We dearly miss our little gal with the big heart, and can only hope to find her again
